Holidays, the latest with me, etc

I really suck at writing in this blog. To be honest, it’s one of the last things I think of doing. I’m going to try to get better at it because I need to write in here for accountability.

I can’t believe 2016 is over. That year just flew by, which means another year has passed, and I am going to be another year older. Ugh.

That moment when…

you have a health scare that literally scares the shit out of you and makes you realize that you need to change your ways or else.

That happened to me.

It was a week ago tonight when I went to bed. I started getting sharp pains in my upper abdomen. I have GERD so I didn’t take it too seriously, although I usually get them in my middle abdovmen area.

Please Excuse My Pity Party

I don’t know what’s wrong with me lately. I worked out for two solid months and felt great. Then I got sick and had knee problems. There went working out right out the freaking window. And I let it.

I. Suck. So. Bad.

Two weeks ago, I worked out a whole two days. The week started good then went to shit. Sometimes I don’t know why I even bother with a healthy lifestyle. Last Week Was Hell But This is a New Week

nevergiveupI’m going to be totally honest here.

I should actually be on Week 4, not 3. But last week was not a good week for me. At all. It sucked balls actually. So, I restarted Week 3 yesterday.

A Few Thoughts About Aging

frabz-one-does-not-simply-stop-aging-0ef38fAs I move forward with my fitness journey, I tend to reflect on several things about me. One of them is aging. I’m 46 years old, and I am here to tell you that, as a woman, aging is kind of a hard process. It kind of sucks actually. It seems like only yesterday that I was a teenager hanging out with friends and partying it up. Was it really 30 years ago? Omg. Are my kids really adults now? Omg. Am I really a grandmother now? Omg.

Slow and Steady Wins the Race!

In my last post, I shared my current measurements as of 8-20-16. I talked about how I haven’t lost much since June, but I’m okay with that. Very true. Slow and steady wins the race, and I’ll tell you – no, I’ll SHOW you – why.

Below are my current progress pics. Please disregard my outdated, messy bathroom and dirty mirror lol.
